Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Redstring application ("the App"), operated by Oguzhan Yildirim. By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). If these Terms conflict with Apple's standard EULA, these Terms apply to the extent permitted.

1. The App Is Fiction

Redstring is an entertainment product: an interactive detective story told through a simulated phone interface. All characters, names, conversations, photographs, documents, and events in the App are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or to real events is coincidental. The App does not provide real surveillance, tracking, people-search, or investigation capabilities and must not be used as a substitute for professional or law-enforcement services.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's usage rules.

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

• Parts of the App require a paid auto-renewing subscription ("Redstring Pass") or one-time purchases.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price shown at purchase.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in your device Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
• Where required, a free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Unused trial time is forfeited when purchasing a subscription.
• Purchases can be restored via "Restore Purchases" in the App.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policies (reportaproblem.apple.com).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code or story content except as permitted by law; (b) redistribute, resell, or publicly rebroadcast story content in a way that substitutes for the App; (c) use the App in violation of applicable law; (d) attempt to circumvent paywalls or manipulate purchase verification.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including all stories, artwork, characters, and software, is owned by Oguzhan Yildirim or its licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. Short clips or screenshots may be shared for personal, non-commercial purposes (e.g. social media) with attribution.

6. Content Warnings

Stories may reference fictional crime, disappearance, deception, and other mature narrative themes appropriate to the App's age rating (13+). Player discretion is advised.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oguzhan Yildirim shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Changes; Termination

We may update the App, its content, pricing, and these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence applies.
